POSITION SUMMARY:

The Software Asset Management Analyst oversees Tenet's software assets, ensuring compliance and optimizing usage. This role involves SAM Pro administration, audits, and onboarding new publishers, with a strong focus on data quality assurance and cloud management. The Software Asset Management Analyst collaborates with various teams, including security, finance, program management, and portfolio owners, to ensure accurate reporting, data normalization, and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAM Pro Administration:

Ensure accurate reporting of SAM Pro attributes and oversee software scans.
Conduct regular Inventory Management and Completeness checks for ServiceNow.
Review CMDB for accuracy and Software Tables within ServiceNow for ELP creation.
Identify deficiencies in SAM Pro and report to the appropriate teams.

Dependency Management:

Collaborate with the development team to establish API access for Software Licensing Experts.

Platform Health:

Daily review of error logs and weekly review of SAM operational dashboards.
Monthly review of new SAM services and prioritization, focusing on streamlined upgrades.

Cloud Management:

Implement and manage cloud provisioning, governance, optimization, and spending.
Collaborate with relevant teams to set up integrations for enhanced value.
Enhance vulnerability response with knowledge of software versions installed in Tenet.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Asset Management or related field.
Strong familiarity with SAM Pro administration, data quality assurance, and cloud management.
Experience in conducting compliance audits and risk management for enterprise licensing.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining Effective License Positions (ELPs).
Familiarity with integration of SAM tools with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications such as SAM, ITIL, or related certifications are preferred.
